This will join up all the letters as one path. Clic on the main word with the new shape and apply patch/ Exclusion. Select the text and do Path > Object to Path Shift+Ctrl+C.Select outset word and apply double clic, then delete the points inside of the word.Select the main word and duplicate it Press Ctrl+d, and click on the patch menu to apply the outset option.Just press these commands (windows, mac users: good luck) F1 (to select the word itself). Here is a tutorial with video included, so you can make the design that is shown in the image of the publication by yourself, with any phrase and words you want like “happy new year”. It has to do with how certain programs handle fonts. Upload Design to Cricut Design Space to make sure it uploads correctly.
